Julia Child movie

I just watched Julia & Julia with Meryl Streep.  What a sweet, optimistic, life-affirming movie!  Streep became possessed by the spirit of Julia Child in this film.  Julia Childs was such a happy, strong personality in this movie.  I wonder if she was really like that in real life.  Living life so fearlessly - I want to be more like that.  I guess you can't help what you are, but at least I can do what I love, which, unfortunately includes writing this dibble online.
