Lands End, supposedly the house Fitzgerald used as his inspiration for the fabulous house in "The Great Gatsby" is set to be demolished. Why is it such an American thing that we just must tear down everything and build something new? They are replacing it with a bunch of McMansions. Just what the world needs.
